July 2017 Newsletter

Rolled newspaper with Newsletter headline

July brings fireworks, cookouts, boating and summer camp.  I can’t say I envy those campers spending a week in this heat, but I know from experience that spending a week outdoors at summer camp can teach a lot of good lessons.  For the second year, Forward Engineers is proud to say that we are a sponsor for the 23rd Annual Green Valley Bible Camp Golf Tournament (GVBC).  Funds from this tournament go toward providing “camperships” for campers who otherwise could not afford to attend GVBC summer camp.  You can read our full announcement or see more about participating as a team or becoming a sponsor yourself at the GVBC Tournament Facebook page.

Here’s a few other topics we were talking about this month:

  1. 179d Extension: June 2017 Update – It’s time for another update on efforts to extend the 179d Tax Deduction.
  2. Energy Monitoring – The management phrase, “You can’t manage what you don’t measure” is also true for building energy costs.
  3. Fourth of July 2017 – Wishing you a happy and safe Fourth of July! Take a moment to remember the USA’s founding 241 years ago.
