Fall is officially here and (at least sometimes) the temperatures are starting to feel a little cooler.  You probably still have your air conditioner on for now, but you’ll be switching to heat mode sooner or later.  It doesn’t hurt to pick a cool evening and do a test of your furnace to make sure everything is working so it’s ready when you really need it.  I believe it was two years ago I did this test and our furnace burner would not ignite.  I tore into my unit and started diagnosing the problem to discover it was simply a wire to a temperature sensor in the fan box has vibrated loose.  Thankfully that was an easy fix!  With that PSA out of the way, let’s see what Forward Engineers has been up to over the summer:

We were honored to be the presenting sponsor again this year for the Green Valley Bible Camp Golf Tournament.  The tournament was held in early August and raised more than $10,000 to provide scholarships for youth campers to attend.  Be sure to check out our full post and see some more pictures of the event.

Earlier this year we also sponsored the Jackrabbit 5K which raised money towards the purchase of athletic shoes for community neighbors in need.  Over the summer, event organizers lived up to their promise and gave out over 300 shoes right here in NWA with some funds left over.  You can read more about how the giveaway went on our website.
